Tanya Brown M.A.
Tanya Brown is a mental health advocate, author, professional speaker, grief support facilitator, and the youngest sister of the late Nicole Brown Simpson. Through decades of personal loss and professional experience, Tanya has dedicated her life to helping others find hope, healing, and resilience in the face of grief, trauma, and life’s greatest challenges.
Tanya holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and is a Grief Recovery Specialist. Her understanding of grief extends far beyond her education. She has experienced the tragic loss of her sister Nicole, cared for her father throughout his eight-year journey with Alzheimer’s disease, supported her mother during her battle with breast cancer, and mourned the deaths of her nephew, both parents, and other loved ones. These experiences have given her a deep appreciation for the many ways grief touches our lives.
At Sunset Funeral Chapel, Tanya offers a compassionate, welcoming space where individuals and families can share their stories, process their emotions, and discover healthy tools for navigating loss. Her approach combines empathy, practical coping strategies, and gentle encouragement to help participants move from simply surviving their grief to finding moments of peace, purpose, and hope.
Tanya believes that healing does not mean forgetting—it means learning how to carry our love and our memories forward while continuing to live meaningful lives. Her mission is to remind every person that they do not have to walk through grief alone.
